Learning and handling issues in the society
learning and handling issues in the society is an article I saw beneficial for campus graduate.
hence, I wrote this article to guide them on how to act and their decisions.
HOW TO APPROACH ISSUES AS A LEARNED PERSON
how to approach issues as a graduate or even as a student.
I saw it elaborating to give these details to them to prepare them for actions.
A STORY ABOUT A GRADUATE WHO NEVER MADE USE OF THIS KNOWLEDGE
In 2010, toward the ending of the year, I heard something that marveled me, a great message talking about john.
The message said john had a missing script in his course study. John was brilliant but was so afraid to do anything that will challenge his standing with someone higher. John knew that he passed the course in question but because academic offices in the school are like a heavy burden to him he refused to object.
Everybody body knows john and believes that he cannot fails except the thing making him fail is not ordinary but unfortunately, he failed though it was not ordinary.
John didn’t do much because of natural fear in him and at the end of that year, he blamed it for the social integration, as not having anyone that will work on be-halve of him but that was a big lie.
John never fought for himself, if you are afraid to start a fight, no one can entrust their life to your hand and fight along with you.
What do you think will happen to 50 lions following a goat and 50 goats following one lion. They are different.
Jon had a carryover and it broke him psychologically, but what was expected of john as a learned person?
it was standing up to your troubles and fear as a student.
FEAR OF STATUS AND LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Have you ever been afraid to talk to certain people in your life?
Have you ever been afraid to walk to a certain office in your life?
What is your mannerism in life, how do educated and learned people handle different issues and circumstances?
We will be addressing these common issues that happen to even to our graduates; I know most of you have felt this error also.
At one certain point in my life, I was really afraid to talk to some high-class people in my life.
Most at times, it was simply because I want to either avoid unnecessary self-attraction to myself or simply because of being afraid of doing it.
These high-level people could be lecturers or administrators.
Most time I felt if I spoke with them, they might not listen to me either because I am off the list concern to them or something else.
Most at times, even crossing to these offices feels too heavy to me as I always feel like I personally have no business with those offices.
Now, listen carefully, do you know you can break through all these hard doors that feel so unbreakable?
Yes, you can do it.
The first you need to do is, overcome the war in your mind.
The body is in a constant fight with the mind and when the body loses the fight, the whole system becomes unproductive.
You need to stop fearing people and status, after all someone got there, so you can also get there.
APPROACHING ISSUES BASED ON STATUS
When visiting someone higher than you in education or status don’t look down on yourself, go ahead and book an appointment with the person.
Either go through the secretary or you call his number, even as a student you can do that.
A REPRESENTATIVE AS AN EDUCATED PERSON
People expect something from you, not really money.
There are certain things society needs from you.
The society needs a representative someone that is outstanding and that will represent them well not someone that cannot do anything or contribute anything cognitively and mentally because of fear.
As a graduate, have you ever been giving the opportunity to represent your community before?
SETTLEMENT OF CASE AS AN EDUCATED PERSON
How you settle issues in the community really matters as you take everything into cognizance and every variable into consideration.
People are expecting a great deal from you; it is also good to look upon yourself and your integrity.
Judge rightly and settle disputes with wisdom, this is why you are a learned person.
RESPECTING STATUS QUO AS AN EDUCATED PERSON
What is the status quo, what was there before I came, a question you should ask yourself, know that the system that was before you came around because someone has set it, and as an educated person, will you accept that old system that has already solved the problem that it was created for and now need modifications?
It is good to respect what is good but as an educated person, you must not do things the way others are doing it, there has to be a way that can be better, a way you and only you could develop and do better than anyone.
Just because everyone is following left to get to a river doesn’t mean, that is the only route to get to your destination.
SPEAK LITTLE AS AN EDUCATED PERSON
This is a powerful tool in the hands of those that know how to use it. Being silent does not mean that you don’t know what to do or what you want.
As an educated man, be observant; know when to talk and when it is not necessary to talk.
When you talk, your speech should command respect, this can only happen when you speak with wisdom.
